Discovering printmaking for the first time with this inspiring and practical no-fuss class.
Brimming with ideas, methods and tips on carving rubber blocks, learn to create arresting and beautiful printed patterns; taking your creativity further and awaken new ideas.
During this class, you will learn how to:
- Design and carve rubber blocks, turning them into arresting patterns and designs
- Create multiple sheets of decorative papers as well as cards
- Develop some simple design for block printing
- Print onto card and paper
- Make a Concertina Book and fill it with your prints
This class is perfect for those interested in learning block printing for beginners or if you're looking for creative things to do at home.
No drawing skills necessary!

30 Sheets various A4

Lino cutting tools (1 set)

Tools and materials you will need:
A board cutting knife
Pallet knife (optional)
Magazines for waste paper
Closing date for booking for those requiring materials delivery in the Sydney Metro areas is 4 days before class commences.

Should you choose to gather your own tools and materials, please ensure that all tools and materials are on hand within easy reach during the workshop. You will be expected to have everything on the list, or improvised at your own responsibility.
No refunds for Online workshops once commenced. A Zoom link shall be sent out to you a few days before. We shall start gathering students 10 minutes before the workshop. Lateness shall not be accommodated.
