Learn to sew a basic headband in two different way.
Time: 9.30am - 11.30am
Tools you will need:
Needles x 2
Scissors or knife
Materials you will need:
Threads in at least three different colours (light and dark contrast)
- Gutermann Silk Thread OR
- Gutermann Top stitching thread OR
- Stranded Embroidery Thread
Scrap pieces of leather
Scrap piece of card
Scrap piece of paper
Not provided but required:
An old paperback and a hardback book you can remove the cover and sew on.
OR two book blocks sewn yourself - at least 2cm thick.
The thicker these books are, the more practice you will get out of them.
Closing date for booking for those requiring materials delivery in the Sydney Metro areas is 4 days before class commences.

Should you choose to gather your own tools and materials, please ensure that all tools and materials are on hand within easy reach during the workshop. You will be expected to have everything on the list, or improvised at your own responsibility.
This is a technical workshop. Currently we are only accepting students who have taken BOOKBINDING classes with us before.
No refunds for Online workshops once commenced. A Zoom link shall be sent out to you a few days before. We shall start gathering students 10 minutes before the workshop. Lateness shall not be accommodated.
