Have fun creating your very own marbled papers - welcome to bring your own paper, fabric and book for edge marbling or anything else you want to experiment with and marble to your heart's content.
This is a highly specialised workshop and therefore tailored to a personal 1-2-1 experience. You can have up to 4 people in a class if you book together as a group. This ensures that each individual will be able to experiment and work in peace without jostling for space.
The tutor will demonstrate:
• preparing your own size
• mixing paint
• how to create various tradition and free form marble designs
• edge marbling
• marbling with fabric
20 Full size sheets of special marbling paper will be provided, but welcome to bring your own variety to have a great experimental day.
All other equipment, tools and materials are provided for.
Further marbling kits can be purchased.
You are welcome to bring your own lunch. We have cafes and food stalls nearby. The Bindery has the usual tea, coffee, biscuits and 'excellent' toasted sandwiches.
