Ideally you would have completed an Introductory course in Bookbinding
Take a walk on the wild side with this fun class of miniature bindings - all under 3 inches! We will have a play with lots of different 'wild' leather - goanna, cane toad, emu, ostrich, eel, to name a few and bind them with a 'Quick leather binding technique' developed by Isabelle. Go home with a little library of mini books!
Please note, good eye/hand coordination and good dexterity are necessary for this course as sharp knives are used in the cutting of board and paper.
You will be shown correct procedure in the use of these tools but good co-ordination will assure accurate cutting and prevention of injury.
All materials and tools are supplied at the Bindery
