Join us for an exciting opportunity to sew your very own felt animals under the guidance of Isabelle, a seasoned instructor with many years of experience teaching sewing and toy pattern making at the Edinburgh College of Art.

In this captivating workshop, you'll dive into the world of crafting as you learn essential skills such as pattern making, cutting, sewing and constructing a 3D toy. We have a whole lot of patterns to choose from, koala, cat, bunny, panda, or we can help you design your own!

Our experienced instructors will be there to guide you through each step of the process, ensuring that you not only create adorable felt animals but also gain valuable sewing techniques along the way.

Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing experience, this workshop offers a fun and engaging environment to unleash your creativity and bring your furry friends to life.

Please note:

  • Suitable for beginners, however it is not a hand sewing course, machine sewing is necessary.

  • Some sewing machine experience is necessary.

  • All materials and tools provided, including tea, coffee and biscuits.

  • This is a technical workshop, anyone with enthusiasm for sewing is welcome to join in. The workshop requires a certain level of capability and confidence in using sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.
