Exciting news in the changing season - September 2025

The weeks and months have truly flown by and with the change in season comes some exciting news I am proud to share; I have been awarded a Churchill Fellowship!

This Fellowship is a unique opportunity to further refine my advanced technical bookbinding skills and to connect with friends and fellow bookbinders and those teaching bookbinding across museums, libraries, universities, and community programmes.

I am deeply honoured to have been chosen, and will use this experience to bring back skills and ideas that can create meaningful impact here in Australia.

I want to acknowledge the incredible encouragement and support I’ve received from family, friends, colleagues and mentors along the way. This achievement is as much a reflection of the community around me as it is a personal milestone.

For now, I simply want to pause to express my thanks, and I look forward to sharing updates and learnings as the journey unfolds.
