For those seeking an alternative to traditional gold tooling, gold foil presents an exciting option. With gold foil, you can achieve superb results and add a touch of sparkle to your book covers. It offers a modern twist on classic techniques, allowing for creative and eye-catching designs.

The course requires you to bring your own books to be tooled. These can be in cloth or leather.

Please note:

1. Suitable for complete beginners includes tea, coffee and biscuits.

2. All materials and tools provided.

3. This is a technical workshop, anyone with enthusiasm for making books and sewing is welcome to join in. No experience in gold tooling is necessary, however you should have completed one Level 1 course and be able to bring your own leather books to be tooled.

4. The workshop requires a certain level of capability and confidence in using sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.
