Time: 10am - 12pm
Cost: $160
Come and join us for a joyful printing session, with stamping, carving, inking, and pressing to your heart’s content. You will dive straight into the fundamentals of block printing through fully guided exercises designed to build your carving and printmaking confidence.
Everything will be laid out for you; paint, stamp pads, carving tools, paper, and cloth. You can make small sketchbooks; print on both paper and fabric; experiment boldly or keep things simple.
Play with shape, colour, layering, and composition; gather plenty of inspiration and practical tips along the way. By the end, you will be well on your way to filling sketchbooks with bold, original prints.
Three hours of relaxed creative play; no pressure, no perfection, just pure enjoyment.

Please note:
Suitable for complete beginners includes tea, coffee and baked treats.
All materials and tools provided. You can purchase your own set of lino cutting tools and some rubber blocks to further continue your new passion at home.
This is a technical but fun workshop, anyone with enthusiasm for making books and sewing is welcome to join in. No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires capability and confidence in using sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.
