This unique sewing method, utilises pairs of precisely placed holes across the boards and spine of the book, resulting in a visually stunning design.
In our workshop, participants will delve into the techniques of the Caterpillar Stitch, learning the intricate steps required to achieve its ornate aesthetic. Through hands-on guidance you'll master the techniques needed to create your own beautiful books, each resembling a graceful caterpillar's journey across the pages.
Please note that the Caterpillar Stitch Workshop is not for the faint-hearted. It demands a keen attention to detail, a steady hand, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional bookbinding. However, for those brave enough to take on the challenge, the rewards are boundless.

This class is NOT beginner-friendly.
This is a technical workshop introducing intermediate bookbinding skills, improving your capability and confidence in using sharp instruments. Must like to sew books!
You will need to have completed at lease one of our Beginner courses or already have good bookbinding skills, especially in sewing a multiple section book.
