Why Sewing Matters: Sewing isn't just a practical skill; it's an avenue for self-expression and creative exploration. Older teens, can master not only sewing techniques, but pattern making and creation. Younger children will learn how to sewn and follow a pattern.
What to Expect:
How to use a sewing machine.
How to drwa, trace and modify patterns.
How to cut out your patterns in various materials.
How to sew and stuffed and finish a felt animal of your own creation with our patterns. You will be able to modify our patterns into cats, bears, koalas, bunnies and more! with guidance from experienced instructors.
You'll not only refine your sewing skills but also develop confidence in your ability to create and innovate. Each felt creation you craft will be a reflection of your style and personality, serving as a tangible expression of your creativity and craftsmanship.
Please note:
Suitable for complete beginners, classes includes water, juice and snacks.
All materials and tools provided.
This is a technical workshop. No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires the use of sharp instruments and being able to follow verbal and visual instructions is expected.
Older students booked from age 14+ is welcome to make their own way for lunch and with consent from parents, is able to arrive and leave on their own accord. A text message shall be sent to parents on the student’s arrival and departure.
