Full Leather Case-Binding With Gold Foil Tooling, in Miniature, followed by Christmas tea party!
Date: Saturday 29th November 2026
Time: 10am - 1pm (workshop)
1pm onwards Christmas afternoon tea
Cost: $100 for Wild Binders Members, $150 for non- members
Christmas Afternoon Tea Party free ( please bring a small plate to share)
Make a full leather, chunky, miniature book under 2”.
We will reinforcing core case-binding skills, so you will need to have completed at least Case 1.01 and 1.02 to attend. No leather paring is taught in this class, as our focus is on finishing the book as a whole and decorating it in gold!
After the workshop, we will break to admire our books and enjoy afternoon tea together and celebrate another year of bookbinding!
For members who do not want to attend the workshop, please feel free to join us just for the tea party, but do consider bringing a small plate to share.
Important Information
This is a highly technical workshop that requires prior case-binding experience. You must have attended the flat-back 1.01 and round back case binding 1.02.
Participants must be comfortable following verbal and visual instructions. If you’re unsure about your suitability, contact us at hello@owlandlion.com.
